@samuel.stroschein What was the reason again for not using tiptap?

@niklas.buchfink tiptap is bloated.

tiptap is a layer over prosemirror. two massive dependencies with features we do not need (real time collabrotation) etc will hurt maintainability.

please hold back with discussions for now. We have to wait for message persistency's AST milestone before progressing here
