Firebase Crashlytics Integration: Deprecation of Cloud Function Triggers on 1 October 2020. #71

According to the Firebase docs, Cloud Function triggers for Crashlytics will be deprecated on 1 October 2020.

This will likely break the the OpsGenie Firebase Crashlytics Integration in this repo, located here.

Is there a workaround or alternative integration in the works? Does OpsGenie have any additional info on how customers could alert from Firebase Crashlytics after 1 Oct. 2020?

Yes, the deprecation of Cloud Function for crashlytics will break the OpsGenie integration, we were in contact with Firebase team, as of now we could not find an alternative or workaround for this to trigger the OG alert when crashlytic alert is created.

We have created a feature request for this on Firebase, our product & partnership team are engaging with them to get a native integration with crashlytics.

For now we have deprecated the support of Opsgenie Firebase Crashlytics integration
