If you are a creative, feel free to submit a logo as any software deserves a logo

I submit this one, which tries to show how to pass from bad formatting (red) to good formatting (green) of YAML, symbolized by the colon.

show how to pass from bad formatting (red) to good formatting (green) of YAML,

Brilliant idea ❣️

adriens commented 2 years ago

Would it possible to get a squared version of the logo (in addition to the rectangle one) ?

@adriens see yamlfixer/logo/candidates/

tamere-allo-peter commented 2 years ago

@adriens just for the record : this logo is made from Unicode character U+2387 aka the Alt or modifier key, in the sans-serif font, representing the action of modifying files, and the colon : which symbolizes YAML, while the red to green linear and horizontal gradient following the direction of the Alt arrow represents the action of fixing from bad (red) to green (good).

So I guess it's time to commit the files under ~/resources or something like that ?

tamere-allo-peter commented 2 years ago

@adriens not sure where just yet, but maybe a better logo idea will come up from elsewhere.

Meanhwhile I'll use your logo to prepare the project social preview :rock: for even better social sharing
