In SEO terms, search volume on pretty much all terms that are relevant to us is ridiculously low. But in terms of our audiences (folks affected by online harassment and the tech/research community interested in such work), this is what I think would be relevant:
Online harassment Twitter harassment Social media abuse Online sexual harassment Online harassment women Online hate speech Online misogyny Stop online harassment Online harassment research Online harassment machine learning
Our competitors seem to focus more on toxicity in general, we could either decide to compete on that (they don’t currently have a lot of content) or focus more specifically on our feminism/misogyny/women angle. I personally think the latter is the better option as that’s what we primarily focus on at the moment. That said, “online harassment” is the term much more widely used (and presumably typed into search engines) than “online misogyny”. Let’s find a way to accommodate both?
Added this issue to the Brand/Marketing Roadmap project as SEO has more to do with marketing than design and content.
