@optilude any chance of getting this merged in? There's a vulnerability in jszip@2.6.1 (https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2021-23413). If you need help getting this version tested etc please let us know we can raise an updated PR as required
@jmac105 seems to be it's time to break backward compatibility. JSzip moves from sync implementation altogether, and I postpone update decision to update, hoping that one day I will come up with solution.
If you know specfic change which fix vulnerability, I prefer to temporary fork jszip, so existing user would not be affected by update
If somebody know, is https://github.com/abbr/deasync would be a good choice as a stopgap solution to temporary provide sync interface? Seems to be I found the fix is here https://github.com/Stuk/jszip/pull/766
I hope that https://github.com/Stuk/jszip/pull/824 will fix the issue.
Superseded by #170.
Bumps jszip from 2.6.1 to 3.7.0.
