Feature: Add categories for posts #40

We could add the possibility to tag a post with a category, to improve the search and filter function. As a user offering help, you could filter the posts by category tag, e.g. in case if you are only interested in helping people to buy groceries. Not really necessary now for the limited set of available entries for a PLZ, but might be useful once there is more data :)

Based on existing entries, I would suggest the following categories to start with:

to expand:

The "Regensburger Tafeln" started a appeal for help, there are Organizations that have infrastructure but still need help, those could be promoted by increasing the area where they are a result or have a different color for the request.

I think there are a couple of pros and cons to this feature that we should consider

Cons

  1. We need to adapt the process of asking for help, offering help and the matching algorithm, which might increase the hurdle of people signing up. So far a lot of the positive feedback we've gotten was in regards to how easy it is to sign up on QuarantäneHelden and we would need to try and keep it this way, even with categories
  2. It doesn't seem necessary yet because of the ratio offer_help/ask_for_help and we should see if other things have a higher priority

Pros

  1. It might look nice
  2. It might become necessary in the future if we get more ask_for_helps
  3. It might help us with other features in the future, especially if we're looking for ways to offer help to those who might not know our platform yet such as elderlies, i.e. through other channels and advertisements (side note: We really need to consider the privacy implications in this case!)

All in all I believe there is no definitive answer yet on how to proceed with this, but I'm happy to hear your feedback. (cc: @kenodressel @tgraupne @Maurice22 )

@jagaSto @kenodressel @tgraupne @florianschmidt1994 Should we close this? Due to the amount of requests I don't see a benefit of having categories.
