What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I created a new notebook, worked on it (with creation of pages and subpages)
and regurlarly saved it. I finally closed KeepNote and turned off my computer.
2. The day after, I turned on my computer and I wanted to open the notebook to
continue working on it.
3. I opened KeepNote, I clicked on File>Open Notebook>... and chose the
notebook I created.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I am expecting that KeepNote opens the notebook I chose. Instead I had a
message error : "Could not load notebook 'C:\Program Files (x86)\KeepNote\David
Wynn models'."
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
KeepNote 0.7.8 on Windows 8 (with a user account without administrator rights)
Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried to access the notebook directly using Program Files> KeepNote>...,
and there is absolutely no file corresponding to the notebook I created. (The
file tree in KeepNote does not correspond to the file tree in Windows since the
folder corresponding to the notebook does not appear in windows file tree - see
the two first attached snapshots).
I made a windows research to find the file/folder of the notebook on my
computer: no result. I did it also using recuva software(dedicated to search
for lost files)
When I use the function "Restore" of KeepNote and I display all files, I can
see the folder corresponding to the notebook, the different htlm pages I
created, the figures I put inside, etc (see the third attached snapshot). But
an "Unknow error" appears when I'm trying to restore them in a new notebook.
I have used KeepNote without adminstator status. Would this explain that
apparently nothing was recorded in KeepNote folder?
