Fails to start on Debian Linux with error "Attempt to unlock mutex that was not locked" #709

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start program from command line.
2. Get error message.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect program to simply run. Get error message instaed.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Keepnote 0.7.8-1.1 on Debian Sid Linux.

Please provide any additional information below.

This link has info about the error and a way to get around it by downgrading a 
number of GLib libraries:

The link also has mentions a patch and has a debdiff for it.

Sorry, don't know how to change priority after the fact, but this should be 
high priority since it stops Keepnote from running at all. Thanks.
