sometimes characters are left out

Filter text typing : sometimes characters are left out, have to type slowly. In case of consecutive backspaces, the deleted character is sometimes written back Is any setting for this?

Unfortunately it still exist in actual 4.0.44 under BetterbirdPortable115.16.1 . The cause seems that the data entered in quick search string field isn't only read but the read content frequently also written back. That collides with newly entered data and so partially or fully deletes them. That effect lasts as long as the search in the folder isn't finished. In my case it's a history of about 18.000 mails. That behavior makes the search a game of patience.
