3 years ago I am dedicated to updating old lost addons, as you can see in the list of other addons given on the welcome page (Nostalgy++, Xnote++, expression search etc,).
In this specific case, I updated Paolo's code to TB 91 and then asked Paolo whether to fork, or whether he might be willing to transfer the addon to me.
He was happy to have the addon live on so he agreed that I can use his original addon-id. So you see both Paolo and myself as owners of the addon. This is similiar to XNote++ where both the original author (Lorentz Froihofer) and myself appear on the ATN page.
At some time, Paolo removed access to his old webpage. I have no knowledge why he did so other than the message you can read there.
Paolo never had a github page so this new one is still pretty empty. And the inital update is only 2 days old ....

Hi guys. Thanks for your updates to this add-on which is now working again.
To give users more confidence, could you please post some information about what is going on. This Github project has no readme, and it's all a bit weird. What has happened to Paolo (kaosmos)? Are you working with him? Have you forked his code? Paolo's website is down and all you get is a cryptic message about the Italian government. How did you get your code to update the add-on when it was presumably signed by someone else.
It's all very mysterious and doesn't give us a warm feeling of trust like it should. Please help to clarify.
