for a reply, the cursor should be in the email body

Happy to see this! I just came to report it. To make sure we're on the same page, the issue for me is that when I reply to a message, the window pops up with the "To" field for a second, then it changes to the body of the email. This means that maybe 50% of the time, a one or two characters go into the To: field, which auto-expands into an address, and then the rest of my typing goes into the body.

This is scary because about 50% of the time I almost send a second copy of the email to a random address from my address book.

Sounds the same as what you describe above, but just wanted to make sure it was noted. Thanks for the work on this extension!

Same issue here. The behavior is totally random when you click on “reply” or “reply all”. this can be problematic: adding a recipient unintentionally.

I think this is a timing issue. I tested and with waiting, it went into the correct field. But I need to find out, why.

Same issue too

Same issue with Thunderbird Version 128.1.1esr on OSX 14.6.1 and v4.1.14 Scary if the new recipient is random and error not caught before sending email!
