please restart TB. Sometimes that helps
Tried this, no difference. This part never has worked for me with TB 115.
I'm running TB115 on windows 11 and Nostalgy does still suggest folders. It might be that you need manually to go into the database that contains the probabilities for the different email adresses to be classed into the different folder and to change these probabilites manually. unfortunately I don't seem to be able to find the file anymore. Opto might be able to help
@embeh found the thread about the prediction, please see there : [https://github.com/opto/nostalgy-xpi/issues/89]
Thanks for looking into this.
I tried closing TB, deleteing the nfpredict.sqlite file, then starting TB again. And for one single time I did get a useful prediction, then it stopped again.
I also looked at the old nfpredict.sqlite file and the data it contained looked sensible to me.
Right now, I am still stuck with Nostalgy not predicting anything right after starting TB and selecting a message, and once I use "s" to save a message to specific folder, it will keep suggesting that one folder and nothing else.
Is there a way to completely reset Nostalgy?
For some reason, Nostalgy no longer makes suggestions into which folder to move a new message. All it does is remember the last used folder in the current session (if any).
This is on Windows 10, Thunderbird 115.15.0, with Manage Emails/ Nostalgy++ v4.1.9 downloaded from the add-on store
The "use statistical prediction" and "suggest folder for related conversation" options are both checked.
Any ideas what could be wrong?
