Unable to create VCN using standard module. #138

This Github template is intended for questions regarding the Terraform Oracle Cloud Infrastructure VCN module.

Unable to create VCN using Terraform standard module

Problem Description

I am trying to create a new VCN using below URL: https://docs.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/developer-tutorials/tutorials/tf-vcn/01-summary.htm

but when I reach "CREATE BASIC NETWORK" step, I encounter below error:

[opc@ebs1 tf-vcn]$ terraform init Initializing the backend... Initializing modules... Downloading registry.terraform.io/oracle-terraform-modules/vcn/oci 3.6.0 for vcn... ╷ │ Error: Failed to download module │ │ on vcn-module.tf line 2: │ 2: module "vcn" { │ │ Could not download module "vcn" (vcn-module.tf:2) source code from │ "git::https://github.com/oracle-terraform-modules/terraform-oci-vcn?ref=4d6c5559b59a4a9e6fd76f207dee0f795e40c002": error downloading │ 'https://github.com/oracle-terraform-modules/terraform-oci-vcn?ref=4d6c5559b59a4a9e6fd76f207dee0f795e40c002': git must be available and on the PATH.

As I am in restricted environment, can not access the above link. Thanks for the help.

Will wait for some other responses who might have faced same issues. I can see URL is accessible but still my VM is unable to connect to it.
