How to enable Oracle Java? #30

I tried enabling Oracle Java by following the instructions here.

BEGIN
   DBMS_CLOUD_ADMIN.ENABLE_FEATURE(
       feature_name => 'JAVAVM' );
END;
/

I then restarted the container. I have my /u01/data folder mounted to a volume so data should be persisted.

However after waiting a while and running

SELECT status, version FROM DBA_REGISTRY
   WHERE comp_id = 'JAVAVM';

I still don't see that Java has been enabled.

Is there any way to enable Oracle Java on the database?

Currently, JAVAVM is disabled in the adb-free container image. Due the size constraints we had to disable certain features in the adb-free container image.

We will evaluate this requirement internally and get back.
