Issues when setting callbacks for custom channel #487

Using the CastHello Android sample project as a code base, my sender 
application seems to have issues with connecting and sending messages to the 
receiver.

sometimes I can launch the receiver, but it will not find a ready state, so I 
cannot cast anything. Other times, when I can connect properly, I cannot send 
messages from the sender application, due to either mApiCliet or 
mHelloWorldChannel being null, for reasons unknown.

Please provide the version of Google play services you are using in your app.
