Cast Screen through chromecast App, Projection icon will not show on status bar.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.launch Chromecast APP
2.cast screen

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected: status bar will show projection icon.
If I cast screen through Settings->Display->Cast screen, the projection icon 
will show on the status bar.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Chromecast v1.10.2, Android L

Please provide any additional information below.
I am trying to detect the phone is connect to chomecast device and refer the 
code in 
frameworks/base/packages/SystemUI/src/com/android/systemui/statusbar/policy/Cast
ControllerImpl.java
but this mechanism is not working if i cast screen through Chromecast APP
