Buggy with 3.6, shows enabled when mouse plugged #17

I'm not sure if this is a kernel thing or not, I cant tell whats going on. Under 3.6 it works fine, it will enable/disable the touchpad correctly, and set the icon when you do it.

But, after a while the icon changes on its own, that is, it will be disabled and the icon will suddenly display the enable icon. Then you think the touchpad is working, and you try it and it is still disabled. The normal mouse has not been disconnected/reconnected, as this happens while using the mouse.

Could something be going on at the kernel level?

Hey,

thanks for this report. Could you give me some additional info, please. Which method are you using to en/disable the touchpad? (Synclient/Gconf/Xinput) You'll find this on the settings tab. If you change the method does this error still occour?

Could you enable logging and paste the log here if the error occours?

Thanks for any help to locate this bug.

Cheers Armin
