This new README is intended to document the minimum set of functionalities that we can use as a base of further extensions. I have marked it as draft we should all agree it captures the functionalities we want to provide. Let me know wath you think.

I wonder if we should also merge HALO-segmentation-notes.md into README.md. I think it's not so nice to have two different sources of important information and HALO-segmentation-notes.md is often overlooked when people start working with the flight segmentation...
