Mini Shopping Cart #29

As a buyer user I would like to hover over the shoping cart icon in the header bar to see a mini shopping cart with a compact view of my line items along with prices and quantities

Acceptance Criteria:

I should be able to hover over mini cart to view the contents of the cart
I should be able to see name, price and quantity for each line item
I should be able to click on a line item to go to the detail page
I should be able to see my order Subtotal
I should see a message if my cart is empty
I should be able to click on the minicart to navigate to the cart page

Note: consider copying the Category menu from mgr.

@crhistianramirez @oliverheywood451 how do we feel about this opening momentarily when items are added to the cart? (in addition to on hover) Would replace the currently popover and display options to "continue to checkout" or "keep shopping"

I like that this makes checkout available and in your face right after you've added an item. If you're only shopping for one thing, this seems great. If you're shopping for multiple things would it be annoying? I don't know. Maybe the add to cart pop up event has a checkout button but not the whole mini-cart?

I'm not opposed to seeing what it looks like though. Go for it.

I think that is a good point about shopping for a lot of things tho. Maybe there could be a gauge for people adding lots of things to a cart. We just maintain some variables in the addToCartSubject and if more than 2 or three things have been added in the last couple minutes just show the current popover ("N items added to cart")

As I'm sure you've noticed, this project has not received attention recently. I can put this task on my to-do list if it is an Archway priority though. I'm out part of next week so I estimate I could have it done by Mon the 25th. Budget some time for testing after that.
