Doesn't work on Batocera v38 #270

I installed it via curl in xterm as usual, on winscp (after it didn't work) and tried to run a game it didn't run and put me back to the menu, when I ran f1 > applications > yuzu-config it said "Invalid desktop entry file: 'usr/share/applications/yuzu.desktop'" even though the keys are where they should be and it said installed successfully

from what was gathered the installer doesn't work or works partially for some users due to 1) issues with ipv6 in batocera (can't connect to gh), and/or 2) github<>isp issues (ip/range being blocked)

this can't be solved by the installer script

some users reported success using vpn@router, or connecting wifi to mobile hotspot
