we can create a organization called org-formation
where we can place repositories such as org-formation
(contaning the CLI tool) and aws-resource-providers
Yes! Will have a look at this soon.
lets first think about naming...
The resource providers are not org-formation specific. We can perhaps also do better than the "OC" root namespace.
Repo: aws-resource-providers Namespace: Community::Service::Resource And make this part of the org-formation organization?
yes, i like that idea
should be rename AwsOrganizationFormation
to org-formation-cli
?
would that break links or will there be a redirect? 😬
github will redirect renamed repositories: https://docs.github.com/en/github/administering-a-repository/renaming-a-repository
🤞
i created an organization. made the both of us owner. did you get the invite? what do you say? we both commit another year to this project together?
i am up for it!
usually i change the remote url even though github does a redirect: https://docs.github.com/en/github/using-git/changing-a-remotes-url
Move all org-formation repositories under a single GitHub organization. https://docs.github.com/en/github/setting-up-and-managing-organizations-and-teams/about-organizations#organizations-and-enterprise-accounts
