PROPOSAL: new list for Brazil - CNPJ #365

Proposal

The name of the list (or the organization that manages the list) Cadastro Nacional da Pessoa Jurídica

A suggested code for the list (optional) CNPJ is the usual abbreviation

A short description of the list The CNPJ is the national tax identification number issued by the Ministério da Fazenda, for all non-personal legal entities in Brazil. It is a fourteen digit number that must be included on all receipts and invoices. Tax authorities assign an eight-digit company registration number that makes up the first part of the CNPJ. The following four digits refer to the business place or branch. Company headquarters are usually assigned the number 0001 for this section of the identification number, with other branches receiving different numbers. The final two numbers are check digits.

@siwhitehouse Please can you advise on the progress of this pull request? I have an organisation that would like to use this list, and they do not seem to have any other alternatives.

@JoshStanleyDevInit We are not currently adding new, unsolicited entries to org-id while we focus our efforts on improving the service. We've added text explaining this in the readme and the about page of org-id.guide

At the moment we are starting some user research that will inform the further development of org-id. We don't currently have a timeline for when we will start processing outstanding requests, but we will be communicating our plans soon.

We do not host the CNPJ list. You can search for a company at http://cnpj.info/consulta

Closed. List added with #406. Found on the website now at http://org-id.guide/list/BR-CNPJ

The cnpj.info site is a third party site, but it's incorrectly attributed as being a primary source.
