Consider traffic lights when routing through first and secondary roads #7517

When routing and the route uses either primary roads or secondary roads to get to a place consider using traffic lights to get to either of these roads because these types of roads usually have a lot traffic and it can take time at a stop sign to get to the roads while traffic lights usually let you in faster.

This could also be fixed when historical traffic data when it is considered in the routing, that’s if the data is implemented in the future.

Also, if this gets implemented have the route not go too far away from the location when traffic lights aren’t present.

This could also be implemented as another route option in the future.

If we suppose that an intersection with traffic lights as safer than another without them, probably is better to route using the signaled intersection for safety reasons, but I doubt that it will be faster in most cases.

Then would it possible to use this as a factor when in the future multiple alternative routes are implemented. Possibly have it as a “safer” route.
