I just wanted to convey how much I'm loving this app!

A long-time Todoist user here. Recently decided to migrate out of it and embrace the beauty of open-source software instead. Found out about Orgzly on tycrek/degoogle, and it was easily the best choice available.

A few days in now, and I'm astounded by how good it is. The app in black dark mode is a wonder to behold; the search queries feature (filtering, sorting & grouping) is extraordinary; local push notification reminders are indispensable (as a user of LineageOS); and WebDAV-syncing is the cherry on top.

Thank you so very much for creating and maintaining this beautiful piece of open-source software. Cannot possibly appreciate it enough!

Checkout emacs or one of the prepackaged distributions/frameworks such as doom emacs, spacemacs or prelude (emacs has a steep learning curve and these packages ease it a bit). You may thought of them as orgzly for desktop, even though emacs has a lot of plugins and using it to take notes and organization is just the tip of the iceberg :)
