"refile note" shows a blank pop-up #993

selecting a note and trying to move it to another group using "refile note" brings up a blank pop-up. orgzly version 1.8.9 on android 12.

It could be some text color issue if that's pointing to an empty notebook. Do you have any?

Does it happen with other dialogs, like for timestamps?

Also, does it happen with a dark theme too? Does anything change when you switch color schemes?

I added a dark mode screenshot to github. same problem. I don't have any empty notebooks. I have been using this app for years, it just started having this problem 2 days ago. I will try to purge the data and download from backup, then I will try to reinstall the app from scratch to see if it will fix it. I will let you know if I find anything.

I cleared up local data and resync from the database without any changes. then I completely uninstalled the app and reinstall from scratch and download data from backup, it fixed the problem.

I am experiencing the same issue.

In my case, it might be related to changing the title of the entry previously refiled to. But I am not sure—I don't remember exactly what I did previously to encountering the bug.

I have tried reproducing the bug on another phone, but I have not been able to do so.

I am not experiencing issues with other dialogs. Changing theme has no effect.

Phone model: Asus Zenfone 9 Android version: 13 Orgzly version: 1.8.10

Is there anything I can do to provide more information? If not, I will reinstall as suggested by deltazee.

Deleting app data resolved the issue in my case.

Remember to export searches beforehand.

I confirm, related to renaming note which was used previously for refilling. If you rename the note with the name used previously, refilling works again.
