hi Camel...

i'm running into some "theme/coloring/weird alignment" issue/situation as you can see from the screenshots... i tried changing the theme.. same thing... different colors... lol.

this is happening with other configs like :

i have fig installed on macos and i use terminal with nerdfonts... what could be going on ..? i would appreciate if you could look into this and put me in a direction .. i'll keep looking for a solution and i'll report back if i find anything on phind or gpt.

update #1 - i have installed iterm2 app.... and it worked... so it seems that it has to do with the profile of terminal app ... i still don't know what caused the problem I'll keep investigating

@HassanAlsheikh The issue you are facing could be originated from your terminal emulator (fig)

[!important] Your colors seems to tweaked with vim's built-in :colorscheme command which NvChad doesn't support use <leader>th (where <leader> is space) command to change theme in real-time feedback

NOTE: This is an NvChad feature

[!NOTE] This distro is still in WIP I'm planning to improve this distribution (when I have the time to spend on it) Things like:

  • Install scripts
  • Better documentation
  • TUI/GUI to configure

just the name of few

thanks Camel... good luck in your uni work.

i was facing the same problem with all config files... even lunarvim... which is heavy moded... anwyas.. i found this on LazyVim install page...

a terminal that support true color and undercurl:

[kitty](Linux & Macos)
[wezterm] (Linux, Macos & Windows)
[alacritty] (Linux, Macos & Windows)
[iterm2](Macos)

and i am not sure if the official terminal app in macos supports true color. fig is still installed... i installed iterm2 and everything worked.. your config and lazyvim and nvchad and lunar... i will install CamelVim on my home linux box and report back... i'm on Fedora/Gnome there.

this is to confirm that it works on Fedora (38) Gnome (44.4):
