This sort of thing could cause big problems with the anemometer:

Will also cause noise on the IMU

Turbulence will have an impact on anything that's affected by motion or pressure; eg. soundmeter, gyroscope

Additional turbulence issues with conventional cylinder design:

A more modern design might be in order, particularly for urban environments.

Key requirements of the screen:

Protect sensor array from excessive solar radiation (specifically: thermal)
Shift heat away from sensor array (upwards, via wind current)
Protect sensor array from excessive moisture, snow, debris
Allow wind to circulate around sensor array
Prevent or minimise wind turbulence around sensor array

Turns out suspension bridges have big cylindrical cables with similar problems... source

The triangular-ish design would be very useful in terms of any antenna connectors from central module.
