we can also get some free hosting from Go Daddy Group Inc. , i have a friend who hosts one and he says they give great support. www.godaddy.com helpful links: http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/994/setting-up-your-free-hosting-account and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E94C5jAJS5I
So, we actually have a server waiting to host our files? Does it have SSH access? Can we run our own software, database, and middle tier (like node.js)?
the last time I checked it supports PHP(that goes with MySQL) and Secure Shell(SSH) but I am not sure about "own softwares", node.js and other RDBMS

There are a lot of options here. If anybody is interested in Linux system administration then we could get an Amazon EC2 account (free for one year). If not, then we can set up easy free hosting somewhere else.
