“VClipboard” is a built-in app that stores several of the last “copies’
to the real clipboard. It is not getting cleared by KeePassDroid. The regular
clipboard is getting cleared just fine by KeePassDroid. There are many ways to
reproduce this behavior but this method should work for everyone. Open
KeePassDroid, and copy either a user name or password to the clipboard. Then
open the default Android browser and go to Google.com. Click-hold on the
Google web search field (the one on the web page itself) and select “Paste
From clipboard”. You will be presented with the recent clipboard history
including the last entry inserted by KeePassDroid. While the “Paste From
clipboard” window is open, you can clear the VClipboard contents by pressing
the Menu button and selecting “Clear”. The only other way is to press:
Menu/Settings/Applications/Manage applications/All/VClipboard/Clear data.
I’ve not found a way to make a shortcut to this app.
I've been using Keepass for many years on PC and PocketPC.
I'm using a Droid X (not rooted) with Android 2.2.1.
Please contact me if I can be of further help and thanks very much for porting
this to Android. Great work!!!

I'm not sure what you are referring to when you say 'Paste from clipboard'
selection.

It may be a Motorola app. com.motorla.service.main includes a package called
"Rich Clipboard" which may be what I'm referring to.

I see. I didn't realize Motorola had a customized clipboard. I don't know if
there is a programmatic way for me to clear it from my app.

Just discovered this as well. When I chose "Paste from Clipboard" in my Atrix
4G, I was shocked to see a history of the last 10 passwords that had been
copied to the clipboard by keepassdroid. Being new to Android, I didn't
realize this behavior was specific to Motorola.
There is some further discussion (perhaps by one of the posters here?) of this
problem here: https://supportforums.motorola.com/message/321682
