Can you provide an example database to me that has this problem?

I had this issue as well, but was unable to reproduce it with a database that
didn't actually have all of my passwords in it. I decided to try just changing
the password on the database that was having the problem. I changed it (just
added an extra character), and that fixed the problem. Changed it again (took
the extra character back off, so it was the same as before), and it's still
working. I can only assume that perhaps this was an issue with databases
created with a particular version of KeePass on the desktop, and that the
problem is resolved by changing the password, either in the same version or a
later version.
