Keypass app data backup on google? #257

I just discovered that google is storing application data on it's website. I
have the phone set to backup apps, but google only shows android wallpaper,
android browser, system settings, market, bible, and KEYPASS!

What type of data is backed up there? Does it contain the keypass database or
my password? Even if the database is encrypted, I still don't want it stored
on google. Can I prevent that from happening for that app only, so that system
settings etc will still be backed up?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 2.2 on Samsung Fascinate-Verizon (not rooted)

Please provide any additional information below.

Only application settings are stored. Your database and password are not.

Since May 2013 Google added another sync option to Android.
See:

rt-2-all-your-app-data-in-the-cloud-a-new-cloud-based-location-service-and-more/
#app-data-syncing

Unfortunately this new feature defaults to opt-in.

Is the answer from Dec 1, 2011 still valid for this new app data syncing?

After the recent incidents I have no interest in storing my database anywhere
in the cloud.

Thanks!
