Database format not recognized #261

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening the .kdbx at keepassdroid file throws "database format not
recognized".
2. Opening the same .kdbx at KeePass 2.16 (Win7) and 2.17 (Win7 and
Ubuntu10.04LTS) works fine.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected is the opened database, seen is just the error message.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android: 2.3.5 (CyanogenMod-7.1.0-RC1.5-jordan) @ Motorola Defy
keepassdroid: Version 1.9.5, July 19th 2011

Please provide any additional information below.
The file is synced by dropbox. Tests with adding dummy-entrys and resyncing
with dropbox have been successful for the windows machines, but not for
keepassdroid.

Would you be willing to send me a copy of your database? I don't need your
password, I just need to see the unencrypted headers of the database to
understand why this is happening.

Hey there, yesterday evening I had another try to open the database, and
wondrously it works!
Yesterday I did a restart, maybe this fixed "anything", the system overall is
actually not well running... (to many apps dying, to many restarts
automatically/required)

So, thanks for your commitment, but I guess we could close this issue...for
now. ;-)

Best regards,
David
