Can't delete entries in database

I uploaded the database file from my computer to my samsung 3 keepassdroid app. 
 (first android phone i've ever owned).
i can open the database no problem, and add to it, but i can't seem to find how 
to delete entries i don't want/no longer need.  edit appears, but i fail to see 
any delete options at all.  Help - i like the program and want to continue to 
use it.

Try long pressing on the entries name in the list.

Awesome program!  

Just a note on this issue, this does work if you are looking at an entry in the 
normal or initial display list and use standard navigation...  That is to say 
that the delete option will NOT work if you are looking at search results.
