unable to discover device with amazon echo dot #59

im trying to turn gpio pin High/low of raspberry. connected alexa local to gpio of raspberry , after deploying im getting below error : "SyntaxError: Unexpected token ="

also having the same issue,

same sort of setup, node red running on a raspberry pi and an echo dot. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

With a bit of fiddling i've got it working, i found i had an old version installed. Upgraded and it seems to be happy now.

Could you please share with what version it worked .. Are you upgrading node version ?
