It might block you until tests pass, if it is a trivial fix, have @dunnlu push it directly to this branch. If it is not trivial, tick "merge without waiting for requirements" or let me know if you don't have permissions

Autoformatter extensions for VS code can be helpful for flake8 - autopep8 and flake8 are the two most common I believe, then shift + cmd + p > "format document with..." should make everything compliant at once. You can also get some that will highlight violations but I find it annoying and prefer to just auto format at the end
