how to turn off the jumping mushrooms? im using the chrome extension from the chrome store. i like this extension but i want to turn off the mushrooms and other guys jumping around please

i found the newest release that i can toggle this on or off but when i load it into chrome it wont let me enable it. When I use drag and drop .crx file in extension page and gets the error. "This extension is not listed in the Chrome Web Store and may have been added without your knowledge"

Hi, thank you for opening an issue.

Since you can't load the .crx (did you check to see if you have developer mode on in the top right?), download the filter8-main.zip file, then extract it.

Click the "Load unpacked" button at the top left of the extensions page, and select the folder that contains manifest.json. filter8 should then have the switch to disable the pixies. You may have to reload any pages to see the effect.

but when i click on any new page the overlay turns back on. i want it disabled always
