I hardly think Orion is "dead". The current state of Orion depends on Meteor's state. From Meteor1.2, there is a giant leap to ES6 and React support. And for Meteor1.3, there is modules support, data layers and more. But 1.3 stable hasn't been released yet. But when it release, I think Orion community will refactor Orion quickly and also make a huge step forward. Here is my wish list:
To conclude, Meteor 1.2 + Orion is fully workable for small and medium projects, but not the best choice for a future big project. Also, Orion was aimed at "private simple customizable CMS", which is not the same as Wordpress, Drupal, Keystone and so on.
Thanks. Those features are worth and required
In the mean time - is there any plan to get orionjs.org and the docs site up and running somewhere. Can I help?
Hello,
What is the current state of this project? The last commit is from December 2015, I really hope it is not dead project already. Is there any feature/milestone plan for the upcoming changes?
