On this german site 50north.de/kostenlose-payment-icons-fuer-den-europaeischen-markt you can download payment icons for free. There are especially for Europe.

Would love to see some of them in your webfont. Thanks for that repo

For inspiration the 'bank_generic' icon from this free set is really lovely
