add link to source code #24

there is one at the bottom of the page.

I mean source code of the function/text not scalex source code. When the result appears, you give the the file/package where the function/text has been find, that could be a link to the source code.

ornicar commented 13 years ago

Oh, err, sorry :) Yeah that's a good idea.

+1. If there was a way to link to the source or scaladoc, I'd immediately add scalex to http://docs.scala-lang.org

heathermiller commented 12 years ago

That is, I'd be interested in using your HTTP API to show scalex search results on scala-lang.

ornicar commented 12 years ago

will do soon very soon!

heathermiller commented 12 years ago

Awesome!! Looking forward :)

Great job btw, I point people to scalex quite often-- it really helps to patch up some unresolved navigation holes we've got in scaladoc.

ornicar commented 12 years ago

thanks. But it's very, very far from being as useful as hoogle is. The current version is a POC, based on mongodb search. Not as efficient as it could be. I'm working on a rewrite using in-memory graphes, that should make type search more useful.

ornicar commented 12 years ago

it's done and will be deployed on a new server within a couple of days

ornicar commented 12 years ago

alright @heathermiller I'm done. Scalex 2 is live, with better results and links to scaladoc.

heathermiller commented 12 years ago

Awesome, great! I'll have a look and will integrate into the search on docs.scala-lang really soon. Thanks a lot!!
