Flicker on $('INPUT').show() of button with google font #181

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Access http://jsfiddle.net/99Bqx/3/ with Win 7 Chrome/IE9.
2. Click any of the select options. 
3. The blue button (which uses PT Sans Narrow) appear.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The blue button is showed on the page. The button sometimes flicker, first 
appearing larger then reducing to its correct size.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win 7, Google Chrome or IE9

Please provide any additional information below.

In IE9 the button shows a bit different, but I managed to see the flickering in 
it also. It seems like both browsers render in another font first, then load 
the google font and adapt the button to use it.

I'm also using latest Jquery for showing the button.
