Settings icon isn’t very self-explanatory. #9

I would opt for the ‘gear’ icon, which is used for this very purpose on iOS (and OS X).

I’m also not a fan of the button being smaller than the others. Was that done to highlight it being a different type of button? If so, how about making it another colour, e.g. blue?

I tried initially to find the ASCII cog, but gave up and went with sparkles, thnk I was working offline

That said, I can probably take the github one, note the cog up and to the right, next to labels.

You don’t use the ‘Character Viewer’ that you can enable in your keyboard preferences?

I can’t find it… :-/ But sure, as long as the icon is understood, that’s all that matters.
