seems to be industry-standard, and maybe has more features that what i'm using (don't remember what i'm using it may already be goldmark lmao but i dont think it is)

to be migrated to goldmark:

[x] paragraph blocks
[x] media blocks
[x] link blocks
[x] footnotes
[ ] language markers
[ ] abbreviations
[ ] frontmatter
