perl client - osx "InCommon" certificate problem #131

Can't connect to example.comt:443 (certificate verify failed)

failed at /opt/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.12.3/LWP/Protocol/http.pm line 51.

seems to be OS X related. Might need to re-do the REST::Client stuff.
