General premise: You say what classes you're taking. When class starts, and you're physically in the classroom, you "checkin" and get some virtual tokens. You checkin at the end of lecture as well, and get more virtual tokens. You use those tokens for clout or something

Web application? Can access location in browser, could be a cool PWA app
We'd need a way to 1) get data on all classes being offered (and when/where lectures happen), and 2) map UCSD locations to lat/lon (center hall, leddon auditorium, etc.)
Database and all that
The virutal tokens needs to be valuable in some way, too

I think this would be best as a mobile app! Can probably use React Native since it's cross platform and if we have a React workshop (for projects like LibWalk), then it won't be tooooooo big of a step up to React Native (I heard it's not very different, mainly different components, but I'm not sure so I can look more into it over winter break). Also, @cqvu introduced me to cryptokitties which is hecka adorable and it could be a cool idea to kinda have something like that for this app where you can spend tokens/get something like R A C C (oons) from going to class and u can b r e e d them to get mixes of raccoons. Each raccoon has their own attributes that determine like their physical characteristics and stuff. Bro, let's use them X and Y chromosomes and the table to determine recessive and dominant traits (so new characteristics can come from two raccoons that are bred without that characteristic because of recessive traits. biology!!!). It'll put use to the tokens and stuff and people will want to get them collectibles. wow.
