we could create a website for general open source @ ucsd, and also have a page where members can submit projects they’re proud of and we can showcase their projects and all that good stuff

A few ideas so far:

  1. Current/Upcoming events

  2. 10 Having this live "stream" that is automatically updated when a contributor makes a PR or an issue in any of os-ucsd repos

  3. An open source pixel art board to show all of our members (whoever has made a contribution or is involved in our org in some way)

  4. 11 A platform where people can post about their unfinished projects to look for contributors, maintainers, or just to hand over the project to someone else completely.

  5. Tutorials page (http://os-ucsd.ucsd.edu/tutorials/)
  6. Blog page?
  7. Compilation of nearby open source conferences or online open source events/competitions (hacktoberfest, game off november, FOSS february, etc...)
