There are legitimate reasons this needs to be allowed in the UI (load balancer for instance doesn't really have OS Type).
Repro:
1) Admin - Hardware - Change OS Type to "Unknown" for a server and save it 2) From that page, click server details link 3) Click resources tab
Result: 500 Error Expected: No error
Please verify that ALL server/group pages function properly (no errors, UI may not show pricing but that is ok) when Hardware Type == unknown.
