[Policy] NPOS2030 feedback

What is the idea?: The National Plan Open Science (NPOS) has published an NPOS2030 Ambition Document. Open Consultation is taking place until Dec 22. More info and a link to the document: https://survey.surf.nl/index.php/493148

Having consulted the NPOS Steering Group, colleagues from the Library and Open Science Programme understood that our ideas and input would matter more if we submit them as a group, e.g. TU Delft. For this reason, we will write a combined response.

The timeline for drafting the TU Delft response:

• Dec 6: Feedback from the Community, Library and the Open Science Programme is collected
• By Dec 13: Anke Versteeg (Executive Secretary, TU Delft Open Science Programme), Alastair Dunning (on behalf of the TUD Library) and Emmy Tsang (as coordinator of OSC Delft) will prepare the draft TU Delft response
• Dec 14: TUD Executive Board will provide final inputs based on draft

Why: (Why would you like to pursue this idea?) It's a good opportunity to shape open science actions/foci at a national level for the next 10 years. Many of our community members' experience and knowledge would be relevant and valuable for the NPOS steering groups.

The Dutch Open Science Communities are also thinking of offering feedback as a collective:

Please discuss the Ambition Document within your community and provide input before December 10th. This will give us time to collate/condens the input (December 15th), which we will share for your approval (December 17th). We will then submit our feedback before December 22nd.

Should we also add our feedback to the Dutch OSCs' response?
