I've found out how the Turing Way is doing this! This awesome project and bot helps automate this process: https://github.com/all-contributors/all-contributors

I have installed the bot, I'll proceed to adding everyone who've contributed so far (may use comments to this issue to help), but if you spot anyone missing, please add them! You can find out how on this page

I should also add this instruction to CONTRIBUTING.md - creating a separate issue for this

ok the missing contributions (beyond the issues and pull requests that we can see) that i can currently remember:

• blog content that we pull from openworking to list on stories - some people don't have GH accs, we may have to look for another solution for this
• there were some PRs lost when we were removing upstream, namely, there was a bulk of work done to write and review the instructions to build the site on windows....
