This repo is mixed Go and Python project. For Go, the version tag needs to start withgo/*, which is rejected by Python setuptools svc versioning plugin when building since setuptools version 66 (https://github.com/pypa/setuptools/issues/3772). For now, as a workaround, use static versioning.
