Hotspots for taking photos

Should have ability to see how many friends of users have been there in the past

Best bathrooms on campus

It would be difficult to develop it because they would have to create their own map or include bathroom information/direction on existing maps

Hydration stations on campus

It would be difficult to develop it because they would have to create their own map or include hydration station information/direction on existing maps
Would be nice to have a route to the nearest hydration station

Lending chargers

It's complicated because it deals with financial transactions such as security deposits. There's risk of stolen chargers as well.
Hard to implement difference between users and lenders

Better bus stop route app

It's difficult to develop because they would have to display the locations of buses in real time on a map.

Bus ETA idea: there are already apps that do this. If everyone has this app, how would this be competitive with others? What about this would keep people from having to wait in line.

Charger idea: How could you charge your phone if your phone is dying? It's really dependent on having someone else being able to access it for you so it doesn't seem to interact with you.

Picture hotspot: There are other apps that try to do that/other ideas from groups that are similar. It's a good idea, people want that Instagram reputation. So it taps into a real need.

Hydration Station idea: We don't know how useful this is. We feel that people can figure out if they've been on campus for a little bit.

Bathroom idea: We really like this one! We think it would be really useful. But if everyone uses it, won't the good bathrooms become dirty?

For the Bus ETA, you can get how full the bus is from UCSD transportation and make estimations for ETA better. Some busses have long wait lines in the morning and this could be very useful for people to make it for class on time.

You can combine these ideas of finding things into one app for UCSD. This would be useful for students looking for open nearby assets.

The picture hotspot idea is cool, but its difficult to find exact location from apis from other apps like Instagram since they give you a general location.
